Mrs. Nellie Austin, Here 30 Years, Dies
Mrs. Nellie Austin, 67, a resident of Dallas for 30 years, died Sunday at her home, 2718 Knight. Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Guardian Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Manford G. Gutzke officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter Miss Cleo Austin of Dallas, a brother C.L. Brady of Dallas, and a sister Mrs. R.H. Kelsoe of Sherman.Nellie was originally buried in the Oakland Cemetery as her obit says but on Oct. 28, 1941 Cleo had her moved to Sparkman/Hillcrest Cemetery at Northwest Highway and Greenville Ave. in Dallas. Cleo was buried in the same cemetery in 1971.
