Second Annual Warbirds On Parade Car
Show in conjunction with our annual fund raiser War Bird
Reunion-A Salute To Veterans. Saturday September 6th sponsored by the Dallas/Fort
Worth Wing . This is our main annual Community event in which we invite various
WWII airplanes from around the area to participate and to help raise the
money to keep our warbird collection in flying condition. The event will
go from 0900 to 1600 (9:00am to 4:00pm) entry fee is $15.00 Awards will be
given for the top 20 cars with an opportunity to take pictures of your car
next to one of the participating aircraft for a $10 donation. All donations

Arts, Antiques & Autos Extravaganza
- Denton, Texas, Saturday, September 13, 2008 - 10 A.M.
to 4 P.M. - Join us Saturday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the
historic Courthouse Square to display your classic, hot rod, motorcycle or
custom dream machine and compete for over 70 trophies in 24 classes. This
car show is growing in attendance every year and we invite you to become
a part of this popular event! We have added a separate motorcycle show this
year with 7 classes. Registration is expected to reach over 250 this year!
Space is limited so register early. The first 200 entrants will receive a
goody bag and an event t-shirt. The Best of Show winners for Autos and
Motorcycles will receive $500. Classes are Pre 50's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and
80's and newer for cars and trucks. We also have Corvette, Mustang/Camaro,
Muscle Car, Competition/Pro-Street, Import, Street Rod and Special Interest.
For motorcycles the classes are; Brits, Metric Cruisers, Metric Touring,
HD Cruisers, HD Touring, Sport Bikes, and Customs. How can you enter? There
are 2 options: pre-register using our entry form or register the morning
of the event beginning at 8:00 a.m. The entry fee is $15 for those who
pre-register or $20 on the day of the show. Look for registration forms on

juried art show booths, antique dealers, "Attic Treasure Appraisals," a special

TX is hosting a Car and Motorcycle Show and Fun Run organized
by BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) on Sep 13th. This will take place at

The 25th Annual Guthrie Oklahoma Road Celebration
Open Car Show will be held Saturday, September 13th, 2008,
in Guthries Beautiful and shady Mineral Wells Park. The park is located
just South of downtown Guthrie on Division Street. Registration is from 8:00
12:00 the day of the show; presentation of trophies no later than
3:00. There will be coffee and donuts for the early birds; music, entertainment,
cash prizes, 50/50 pot, goody bags, door prizes, food, drink, crafts and
vendors. Five ball judging. Special trophies awarded for special vehicles.

The City of Springs Car and Bike
Show will be held on Sept. 20th, 2008 in beautiful historic
downtown Sulphur Oklahoma. This years show is expected to be our best yet
with over 30 classes featuring some of the best classic, modified, and original
cars and trucks anywhere between Oklahoma City and Dallas! We have also brought
back the motorcycle classes this year. We will have great food and entertainment
all day. Music will fill the air in downtown Sulphur as we bring you the
best era music along with some of the best live music you will hear anywhere
with our downtown sound system. We will be running the tour bus into the
beautiful Chickasaw National Recreation area for those who want to see the
park and the natural springs. The bus will run every hour, so bring your
swimsuit or just pull up your jeans and enjoy the clear natural park water.
As usual we will be giving large awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each
class. There will be special awards given for Police Chief, Fire Chief, and
Mayors awards. The first 100 entries will receive a free t shirt and dash
plaque. All entries will be given a ticket for the CASH drawings!!! This
year prizes will be $100.00, $250.00, $500.00, and the GRAND PRIZE $1,000.00!
Every entry gets a ticket for the drawing! So bring your friends and come

The 2nd Annual MacKenzie Trail Festival
in Stamford , Texas sponsored by the Stamford Chamber
of Commerce will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008. Events will be held
on the Square and at the Texas Cowboy Reunion Rodeo grounds. On the Square,
will be the Duggans Parts Plus Annual Car Show, as well
as Trade Show and Food vendors. This year there will be sixteen (16) car
classes, (Pre-49 Street Rod, Pre-49 Antique, Classic Auto 1950-1959, Classic
Auto 1960-1970, Car 1980 to Present, Ford Muscle Car, Chevy Muscle Car, Mopar
Muscle Car, Pro Street, Truck 1949-1966, Truck 1967-1987, Truck 1988 to Present;
Import, Unfinished (drivable-needs major interior/paint work), Special Interest
(kit cars, custom modified body cars) and one (1) motorcycle class. Trophies
will be awarded for 1st and 2nd Places in each class, also awarded will be
Peoples Choice and Best of Show. The Best
of Show winner will also receive $200.00 cash. T-shirts, dash plaques
and goody bags will be given to the first 50 entries. Car Show entrants will
also be entered in a drawing for door prizes held the day of the Show. Entry
fee for the car show is $20.00. Trade Show and Food Vendors need to submit
their reservation and rental fee to the Chamber Office no later than Tuesday,
September 9. Vendor spaces are 10 x 15, rental fees are $15.00 without electrical
hook-up and $25.00 with electrical hook-up. Vendors need to arrive and complete
set-up by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20 and remain open until 4:00
p.m. Only vendors who have reserved and paid in advance are guaranteed booth
space. The Lone Star Barbecue Society sanctioned Hell or High Water
BBQ for Bucks Cook-0ff will be held at the Texas Cowboy Reunion Rodeo
grounds. Categories for the Cook-Off are: chicken, pork spare ribs, brisket
and jackpot beans. Entry fee for one or all meat categories is $60.00 and
jackpot beans is $10.00. Cash prizes are awarded in each of the categories.
Also held at the TCR grounds will be a Horseshoe Pitching
Tournament. Entry fee for the Tournament will $10.00 and participants

$30.00 and you can register from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon - 30 Judged Classes,
30's, 40's, 50's 60's 70's Car and Truck, Classic Car and Truck, Convertible,
Mopar, Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, Custom, Import, Motorcycle, Muscle Stock
and Modified, Open Class, Original, Race Car, Street rods, and Scariest
Mode of Transportation,
Special Trophies for Best Engine, Sponsors
trophy, Club Choice, and Best of Show and Sponsors Choice Separate
Class for New Cars. Special awards will also be given out. Judging will start
at 11:30 AM and will end by 2:00 PM- Awards will be given out at 3:00 pm-
Car Show is open to the public, the museum is a separate event that requires
additional admission tickets, and participants discount tickets to the Museum
will be $2.00 off at the show- Car Show is hosted by: The National Museum
of Funeral History and The Houston Mopar Connection Club. The 1st Annual
Halloween Classic Car Show iis sponsored by Advanced Restoration and Collision

the show is on the corner of Barren Springs and Ella Blvd. which is between
Richey Rd, and Airtex, just west of I45. There are Museum signs on the southbond
