Bastrop Veterans’ Weekend Car Show
- Main Street in Downtown Bastrop, Texas - Nov. 13 –
15, 2009 Registration fee: $25.00 (Includes event T-shirt, goodie bag, chance
at door prizes) 20 classes (see registration form for class breakdown) ·
Friday Night Nov. 13th: Pre-Registration; 4:30-8:30pm, Meet & Greet,
Free Drive-In Movie, Refreshment stand. · Saturday Nov 14th: Registration
7-10:30am Car Show: 11am -3:30pm Awards: 4:30pm Veterans Ceremony ·
Sunday 15th: Cruise-in to the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort for a "no host" brunch,
and another chance to show off your car! If you haven't been to the
Hyatt....Cruise on out, it is beautiful! Charity Benefit: Don’t forget
to buy raffle tickets at the show. $1.00 each. 1st Prize: 2 nights stay at
the Lost Pines Hyatt Resort and Spa. 2nd Prize: Cool Pedal Car, 3rd Prize;
a $100.00 bill. The raffle drawing will be held on Nov. 14 at the awards
ceremony. Proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project and to Soldiers Angels,
in honor of our veterans. Also, Raffle tickets will be sold ($5.00 ea.) for
a heavy duty, 18 ft. car hauler, with power wench. Only 2000 tickets will
be sold. Proceeds go towards buying a Prosthetic Foot for a disabled club
member. Trailer will be on display during the car show. Event sponsored by
the Bastrop Area Cruisers and the Bastrop Downtown Business Alliance. Saturday,
there will be a marketplace with automotive goods, food stalls, arts &
crafts vendors. Veterans events throughout the day. All early registration
entrants will be eligible for a Craftsman - 12 drawer tool chest. Register
on or before Oct. 31, 2009 to be eligible. Registration form can be found

Great American Wheels and Wings
- Nov 21 / Saturday / 1 pm - 5 pm Roanoke, Texas - Antique, classic, custom,
hot rod, muscle, resto mod, stock, street rod and vintage cars are invited.
This is a wheels and wings event with some aircraft possibly on display.
There is no competition planned for this event and no entry fee. It is a
show & shine only. Judging and awards are planned for events next year.
The location is on the far east side of NW Regional Airport at 5360 Kelly
Road in Roanoke, Texas. Grass parking. Public is invited. Free admission.
